About Us

The 40 acre Manitowoc Gun Club is located east of Clover, Wisconsin and is open to the public during posted shooting times and special events. It has 5 lighted Trap fields and 2 Skeet fields. The members only club meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at the club house.

The club has several major annual functions including the club banquet, special awards night, the gun show and the Pheasant’s Forever Triple Challenge.

The club banquet, held on the second Saturday of November, offers an opportunity to win great door prizes including guns.

The gun show is held the first Sunday in February. A table can be arranged for club members wishing to sell guns or related items.

The Pheasant’s Forever Triple Challenge is held each May. This youth tournament attracts teams from throughout the state.

The hands-on portion of the Youth Hunter Safety program is held on the club grounds in spring. Sponsored by the Manitowoc Recreation Department, these classes teach hunters safety and ethics to the next generation of sportspersons and hunters.

Except for the youth tournament, all functions above are open to the public and everyone is welcome.

Open to club members only, the annual club championship shoot is held during the summer league season on a Sunday in August. Trophies are awarded in trap and skeet, and are fifty target events. The shoot is divided into classes A thru D, Juniors and Ladies. The class that an individual shoots in is based on their 16 yard average allowing competition to be matched to an individual’s particular shooting ability. Handicap yardage in trap is also determined by the 16 yard average.
